The Death Penalty

In class today we were asked to give our position on the death penalty. I am 100% in compliance with the death penalty. I feel as though if someone has the gall to murder someone or commit such gruesome crimes, they deserve to die. It all goes back to the famous phrase an eye for an eye. If one kills then they too should be killed. The death penalty is very effective, the only flaw is the money we spend on lethal injections. These criminals that receive the death penalty should be killed with a single shot, it is much cheaper.
